Prabh Near is a Music Producer, Musician, Lyricist, Composer and Painter who is currently based in Canada. Born in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, Prabh Near was raised in a musical family which led to his keen interest in music. Throughout his childhood his father was his teacher and mentor. Prabh Near started learning classical Indian music at the very young age of just two years, and gave his first performance at the age of five. During his school years, alongside his studies, he trained [vocally and instrumentally] in gurbaani kirtan, ghazals, folk songs and other types of music, which he then performed in competitions and won many prizes. Prabh Near's favourite aspect of music was creating compositions.
