Gippy Grewal's fans were in a surprise when the superstar announced that the shooting for the Punjabi movie "Carry On Jatta 2" will commence on 20th October, 2017. The film is a sequel to the super hit comedy film "Carry On Jatta" and will be releasing on the 1st of June 2018. On one hand the shoot of Gippy Grewal starer "Carry On Jatta 2" has come to an end while on the other hand the star cast was pretty excited about the shoot's wrap up. Amist all this excitement, the team announced the third franchise of this film releasing in 2019.

Binnu Dhillon also tweeted: "We have completed the shoot of Carry On Jatta 2 and now we are announcing that we will start the shoot of Carry On Jatta 3 in the year 2019… Till then enjoy the second installment of this comic caper." 

The movie stars Gurpreet Ghuggi, Binnu Dhillon, Jaswinder Bhalla, Khushboo Grewal, Sardar Sohi, B.N. Sharma, Rana Ranbir, Anshu Sawhney, Karamjit Anmol and Inderjit Nikku in pivotal roles.  Sonam Bajwa has replaced Mahie Gill in this franchise and the rest of the star cast and technical team is pretty much the same. The movie is directed by Smeep Kang and produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu. 


Gippy on the other hand is said to have to much on his plate. With the release of his latest track "Nai Shadh Da" and managing his own music label "Humble Music", Gippy Grewal stands true to the quote "One Day or Day One. You Decide!"

Much said, all we can do is eagerly wait for "Carry on Jatta 2" to hit the theaters and watch Gippy Grewal deliver double entertainment with his comedy packed punches.
