Roger David, who is commonly addressed by his stage name Bohemia, is a Pakistani American rapper, songwriter, poet and record producer. He is regarded as the first ever Punjabi Rapper who released the first Punjabi rap album in 2002. He is famous for being the pioneer of Desi Hip Hop and the King of Desi Rap. 

Born in Karachi, Pakistan Bohemia moved to the United States during his early teen years where he started learning music at a very tender age from his father and started writing Punjabi poetry too. When he moved to America, he started working as a keyboard player/music arranger while living at local studios with other musicians and after a few years of success, the local group of musicians fell apart and Bohemia left to pursue music on his own. Bohemia soon started putting his poetry to the music he composed and gave birth to a new genre of music of Desi Hip Hop / Punjabi Rap.

Bohemia’s first (Debut) album, Vich Pardesan De (In The Foreign Lands), was released independently in 2002 and was soon among the top ten most requested songs on BBC radio 1 in United Kingdom and his second album Pesa Nasha Pyar was released in 2006 under Universal Music Group Pvt. Ltd. India and Ishq Records making it the first ever full-length Desi-Rap album to be released by a major label. He is also famous for the tracks Chandni Chowk to China and Subha Hone Na De.
