Satinder Pal Singh Saini who we commonly address as Satinder Sartaaj is a multi-gifted artist, songwriter, singer, composer, and poet. who possesses an unprecedented list of achievements and is a true inspiration. He gained fame with his hit song "Sai" and since then his popularity has seen a constant surge among the Punjabi diaspora.

 Born into a Sikh family in the village Bajrawar- Hoshiarpur, he began performing during his early years of schooling and completed his formal education, including his graduation in Music with Honors from the government college. He has done his M. Phil and Ph.D. in Sufi singing from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Sartaj can perform instruments such as Vocals, Harmonium, Chimta and Saaz-Sartaaj (his own creation).
